The antique table
I peered out of the tiny crack of the dining room skirting board, with my rat tail dragging behind me. I was starving, I couldn’t even walk properly. I saw an item of leftover food on the massive antique table, I didn’t like the smell of it, but I had to eat something. I walked around the table to see if I could find something else but there was nothing, they must have been hungry today. I scurried back over to the item of food that was left, I just couldn’t eat something so disgusting looking. What was I going to do? I don’t think I could go another day without food.
