Teenagers have been labelled generation fast-food. A study shows one in six young people eat it at least twice a day. In every food court in every mall restaurants offer tempting treats.
Fast food is high energy food that’s low on nutrients. Recent figures show one in five children are now over weight. When a child bites into a burger the brain secretes dopamine which is the main neurotransmitter responsible for pleasure and happiness this can cause a complete lack of control.
So are we a generation of fast food? Yes this is something we need to address.
