The Boy in The Striped Pajamas
Grandmother was thinking about maybe bringing Bruno over to live with her instead of him living in Auschwitz. Then Grandfather walked into the room with what looked like a letter, a handwritten letter, not like does new typewriter letters that everyone seems to be talking about lately. “It’s from Bruno,” said Grandfather as he dropped it on the table. “ It looks like he really misses you.” Grandmother opened the letter and read it to herself, “ when did it arrive?” Asked Grandmother. “Just today, I went down to the post office see if there was any post and that was the only one.” “Maybe I should bring Bruno over after all,” muttered Grandmother to herself.
