A Devastating Arrival

Bruno had been living in Out-With for two weeks now. He still remembered his best friends Karl, Daniel and Martin. But, as time without them grew longer, his memories of them began to fade.
“I can’t believe we had to leave Berlin” he muttered to himself. He couldn’t play with Gretel because after all she was a ‘hopeless case’. Suddenly, Bruno was called to the living room by Mother with a strict voice. “My dear Bruno, it truly hurts me to have to tell you this.” she said in a frustrated manner. “ Your friend Martin, he-he passed away a few hours ago” she handed him a letter. “When did it arrive” he said trying not to meltdown into tears.

My old pen pal

I had a pen pal. We had known each other form about three years now. Everything had been normal up until a month ago, they didn't responded in two month now and I started to get worried. I told my friends and they explained that I didn't receive one in ages. I sent a voicemail to them and one key point in there was " when did it arrive" I said. Because they said that they posted it to my last week. I was furious, and that how we stopped being pen pals.

Jack’s surprise

One day when Jack got home from school, he opened the front door then heard whining, it sounded like a dog. He told his mom and she said it doesn't matter so they went out to the kitchen and Jack saw a dog sitting there. When it saw him it tilted its head in confusion and then started jumping up on him and licking him. "When did it arrive?" asked Jack, mom said "It arrived while you were in school and Jack replied with "I love it so much, thank you for getting me a dog"

The Letter

When Bruno was done exploring the forest that was behind the house, he walked into the living room and seen Father crying. Bruno had never seen Father cry before, '' what’s the matter Father'' I dared to ask. He passed a letter to me it was from grandmother,
''Dear son I'm sorry I have to deliver this news to you but your father has been shot dead in his restaurant. Soldiers came in demanding to take over the resturant your father wouldn't allow it. They shot him square in the chest. Look what the war is doing to this family.'' Bruno whispers to his father '' When did it arrive?''

                                                Gaming PC

One rainy day, I was searching for a gaming PC because mine broke and it's old. I ordered a GTX 1080ti and an i7 intel core. I was expecting it to arrive next week Friday. Monday, today I was going to school and we have a test. Twenty to three, it was home time and I hurried to my bus. 3:00 I was at home now, I went to my room and finished my homework. Just before I finish my homework my mum called me in and said here's your gaming PC. I said "when did it arrive" and my mum said, "at twelve o'clock". After that, I went to my room and set up my PC.

                                                              A boy called Ryan
Ryan was a  Jewish boy during World War 2 ,his family lived France, but they had to move  because Nazi soldiers occupied the country .They settled in Italy ,but suddenly they got  arrested and send to an concentration camp in Poland. When they got there one Nazi officer asked Ryan when did you arrive?I said just an hour ago. The conditions  there were horrible, but they hoped that soon they will be escaped. One sunny, bright day they heard the news that the soviet soldiers are approaching the city. In a few months the soviet solders  approached the city and escaped them. They were delighted that they were finally escaped.

                                                The Beginning of the End

Maria walked through her front door after walking home from school. Although Germany was at war school was still open. I went into the kitchen to find my mother holding an envelope with my name on it. "This is for you Maria," my mother said before handing me the envelope. "When did it arrive?" I asked while sliding it open.
"It came just before you did today. What does it say?" she replied.
There was a newspaper inside the envelope. My eyes dropped as I read the headline.
Mussolini and Hitler found dead in Berlin!
I showed my mother and noticed as I gave it to her that there was writing across the back.
TWO DEAD AND TWO STEPS CLOSER TO THE END OF THE WORLD, it said in blood. I looked at my mother while the colour left my face. This was the beginning of the end.
