“So that’s why I’m always last in this family!” vociferated my enraged sister. “Winston, I trusted you, we were family” she added. Repeatedly, she blinked attempting to hide her current feelings. Triggered, she stormed out and slammed the door off the hinges. Silence was all that was left. One tear escaped my eyes and then it was followed by a whole wave, I was blinded by my own tears. My parents approached me gently and promised that everything will be alright. That night I prayed for forgiveness, from my sister. All I wanted was to be family once again.
