One Step Ahead

It was the 22nd of April 1916. Michael Collins had arrived in James Connolly's office; reporting for duty. He spotted an English soldier while observing the area around the GPO for any potential threats. Without thinking twice, Connolly saw this as an opportunity to capture an English soldier. Collins tried to warn him about there potentially being other soldiers but Connolly took no notice. He sent out three troops to capture the soldier, Collins persisted to warn him but Connolly still took no notice. An hour passed, and the troops were nowhere to be found. They had been ambushed! It was a setup, a trap! The English were one step ahead the whole time.
Collins thought to himself, "What if I was in charge?" he could've prevented this…

I’m in charge
Every day I go to school thinking but what if I was in charge what would I do?

I would arrive into school wearing whatever I want in whatever I want
I would go into to my futuristic classroom turn on my whiteboard and wait until the bell rings
I would let my class in my door and straight away get to work they will be doing Irish and I would being checking teacher stuff
After lunch they would be doing maths for the rest of the day
That would be my day in charge

Who Should Be In Charge?
I and my friends Aoife and Emily always play a game with Aoife's older sister called Anna but she is always in charge of the game and Aoife and her sister always fight because Aoife wants to be in charge of the game and so does Anna. I and Emily always say "but what if I was in charge?" There would be no more fighting over silly things and we could just play any game without fighting for once. It would be so much better. Who do you think should be in charge?

Ruf day

One morning I had to wake up for work when there was a lot of snow were I live, but still, my boss said I have to come witch was unfair as I slide through the snow, I almost drove into a huge hole thank God I didn't, finally I came to work all shivery and cold and also scared as I came through the door there were very few people, working and my boss came over and said I have to go home and one of the workers have to be in charge, but what if I was in charge.........

What would happen?
Many times when I was bored, I would think about random things like who wrote Little Red Riding Hood or Journey to the River Sea. Then I would wonder, but what if I was in charge of writing them? If I was writing them then there would be no awards like "The Best Book Of 2016" or "Most Popular Book In The U.S.A". The only awards would be like a world record of a book that no one ever read before. Except for me. Well at least I will have one World Record. Happy Days?

One day a little boy named Max was playing with his toys until his brother Calum came in and threw his stuff everywhere.Max was infuriated but he couldn’t do anything because Calum was older.Later on at nighttime Max wondered to himself what if he was in charge,he got up he tipped toed into Calum’s bedroom and wrecked everything he poured water on his xbox threw his fidget spinners onto the ground,put tissue paper everywhere,put toothpaste on his bed put his controller in the toilet,drenched glue all over the floor and went back to sleep without a worry in the world.

The Road Trip

One day a boy named Jack was on a road trip with his family and nothing was going wrong and the weather was beautiful. While they were driving right next to a cliff, Jack's sister was very scared that they would fall off and kept telling her dad to slow down. They made it past the cliff and Jack calmed down his sister. And then, suddenly, the car stopped and they had to turn around and get to the closest gas station. While they were driving Jack's dad pulled over to try and see what was wrong, as he stood out the car starting rolling forward but the dad jumped back in and stopped it and Jack was thinking, "Wow, that was close, Dad saved us just in time" He thought again, "What if I was in charge? I wouldn't save it in time".

The Big Fight
One day two countries went to war one person from each country was in charge. The person for Spain is a guy called Jimmy and another lad called Timmy for Ireland. So they went off into there trenches and started fighting Jimmy was getting shot. Before he was killed he said surrender there is no one to take my place then I said but what if I was in charge and then he said ok then he was dead. So I am now in charge of the team.
A few days into the fight and Ireland surender AND SPAIN WIN YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!

Me being captain?

I am pirate, I work for captain Peter Swords. The year is 1752, I think. I'm writing this letter let the people in the future want a pirates life is like, how I'm going to sent it to the finder is by putting it in a glass bottle with a cork a the top and throwing it into the ocean. Anyway, a pirate don't always fight and sail of being the best. No, it not actually like that, that might be the simple part of being a pirate, but you just really get bossed around. But what if I was in charge? Would things be better.

Being In Charge

Joining the army at the age of 16 was young but people told me I was always mature for my age. My name is Thomas and I'm from Ballyfermot Dublin. I always wanted to be in the army and have tried to get in several times and now I'm finally in. We have to go to Saudi Arabia to keep peace alongside the British. I want to be in charge because I'll be a better leader than sergeant Healy. He wants to go in from the front but if I was in charge I'd go around the back and flank them. Because of sargent Healy’s mistake 400 men died that day.
