It was a cold damp dark morning and I had to go out to the field and pick the carrots that were growing on my uncle's farm it’s not to say that i was tearful with the the thought of having to go out in the cold . We had to drag the the steel trailer with us so we could throw the carrots into it when we had picked them . They were kept dry under a mauve coloured tarpaulin that was throw over the steel trailer . When we had all the carrots picked that needed to to be picked we handed back to the house for a big bowl of my aunties stew.
