It was a darkened, chilly, Autumn night. I was gazing upon the dazzling, breathtaking stars, while I was seated on the backbreaking cobblestone that covered the flat roof of my irritating step mother’s residence. Strikingly, I recognised a wavy movement shifting through the crisp golden stars. Immediately, I snatched my untouched telescope and stared through the crystal clear glass. To my bewilderment, I saw these fascinating creatures that flew so elegantly with their majestic, clear white wings. They surged through the creamy like clouds, but where were they going? Tempted as I was to depart with my step mother and race after them, I pulled myself back and commanded my living soul to stay put.
